Our ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life and promote independence in our clients, with all the dignity and respect they deserve. Our services include:

Homemaker – Provides light housekeeping services. We will assist in general household management such as:

  • Preparing meals
  • Washing dishes
  • Serving food
  • Changing linens
  • Laundry, folding clothes
  • Vacuuming/sweeping/mopping
  • Dusting
  • Trash removal
  • Prescription reminder
  • Transportation to appointments

Adult Family Living (AFL) – is a program that allows individuals aged 65 and older who need assistance with personal care tasks to remain in their home and community with a qualified, approved caregiver. This program provides financial assistance and support to compensate family members or friends who serve as caregivers. The caregiver must reside in the same home as the individual receiving care and can’t be a legal spouse or a legally liable relative.

Qualifications for the program include:

  • Be a Connecticut resident
  • Be at least 65 years of age or older
  • Require assistance with one or more activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Meet income eligibility requirements

Companions – Companions are individuals that provide interactive care through social activities such as:

  • Playing games
  • Talking and having conversations
  • Other recreational activities
  • Oversee clients
  • Medication reminders
  • Transportation to appointments
  • Shopping
  • Assist with phone calls
  • Light meal preparation
  • Run errands

Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and Live In – PCAs and Live-Ins provide more hands-on assistance for those individuals that need more assistance in their daily activities such as:

  • Bathing
  • Toileting and incontinence care
  • Dressing
  • Transferring in and out of bed
  • Assist in using medical equipment i.e. walkers and wheelchairs
  • Prescription reminder
  • Meal preparation
  • Feeding
  • Light housekeeping
  • Monitor client
